In a recent study, the potent antioxidant alpha lipoic acid displayed properties of neuroprotection in brain cells by increasing the expression of antioxidative genes and phase II detoxification enzymes.

Dr. Jay Burness’ practice focuses on the treatment of concussions and post-concussion syndrome (PCS).
