The First Visit

During your first visit, we will review the paperwork you submitted to our office, expanding the case history with specific questions pertinent to your case. Based on your history, we will then run a few preliminary screening tests.

If we feel it is likely that we can help you, we will run a thorough neurological and orthopedic exam. Depending on what the examination reveals, additional diagnostic testing specific to your case may also be scheduled at a separate visit. In total, the first visit should take approximately one hour.

Prior to the first visit, you will have been asked to gather all previous testing records performed by other doctors you have seen regarding your condition. This may include X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, blood work and any other special testing performed in the previous year. We will gather those records during your first visit and review them before your next appointment.

The Report & The Second Visit

Our team will review the findings of the examination from the first visit with you, as well as your previous records and let you know whether or not we can accept your case. We may also recommend further blood and metabolic testing specific to your case at this time.

If your case is accepted and you decide to proceed with care, your treatment plan and payment options will be explained in detail. Any and all questions regarding your case will be addressed at this time, so it is important that your partner (if applicable), or anyone else who is involved in your decision to proceed with care, be present at this visit.

Going Forward with Treatment

Regular office visits will be scheduled over a period of time sufficient to address the specifics of your case. The length of a given treatment program in our office will vary greatly depending on the condition being addressed and your overall health. A case may range from as little as one month to as long as one year.

Depending on the modalities used, a regular treatment visit may last from 20 minutes to 1 hour. Regular re-exams and re-testing will be scheduled over the course of your treatment to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your care.
