Boomerangst: (n) def:
a morbid feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity that one is unaccountably about to get whacked in the side of the head by a bent or angular throwing club typically flat on one side and rounded on the other so that it soars or curves in flight.

Magnesium deficiency has been associated with a higher incidence of developing pathological anxiety. Additionally, since magnesium modulates the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis, it appears that its deficiency negatively impacts this important aspect of the endocrine system, through which its dysfunction may increase the incidence and severity of anxiety disorders.

Doctor Jay

Dr. Jay Burness’ practice focuses on the treatment of concussions and post-concussion syndrome (PCS). He is one of only a few doctors in Canada to hold a American Chiropractic Neurology Board certification. In 2015, he also became one of 50 doctors worldwide to earn a fellowship certification in post-concussion syndrome management, granted by the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation.
