Our Treatment Approach

At Northoak Chiropractic, we develop tailored, effective programs of care targeting the specific needs and conditions of each patient. These conditions may include brain and spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, fibromyalgia, as well as a range of cognitive and behavioural disorders.

Each treatment is individualized and comprehensive, and will include various types of adjustments, stimulations, brain-based exercises, supplements, and dietary modifications tailored to your unique case. All our recommendations are determined with thorough neurological, metabolic, and nutritional examination, sensitivity testing, and analysis.

How We Help You Recover Brain Function

Our approach can be summarized with the following three key concepts, which are considered the essential ingredients for the recovery of brain function. These three concepts are used together to bring the patient to a higher state of function and health.

1. Activation
We carefully fire the nerve cells of the targeted brain pathways with specific exercises and stimulations driving neuroplastic change.

2. Metabolic Support
We provide both brain and targeted cells with nutrients, oxygen, and the building blocks needed to create new connections.

3. Elimination
We remove toxins and triggers of inflammation that are damaging to the affected tissue.
